That’s our moving truck by the “Welcome to Colorful Colorado” sign! We sold our home of 26 years in Victoria, MN to move to Grand Junction to be closer to our daughters. After we searched high and low, we chose Grand Junction, Colorado specifically. We checked out other small towns and regions of Colorado and Arizona but kept coming back to the Grand Valley.
My wife and I know what it’s like to hunt for a new place to call home. We spent years researching and learned a lot of great things about living in this community. And now we are sharing those tips with you on this website. Not just things to do in Grand Junction, there are plenty of websites and social media feeds about that, but we are sharing with you specifics about moving to Fruita, Grand Junction, Palisade, or Mesa County. If you are planning a visit to Grand Junction and the Grand Valley, you are not alone. According to Visit Grand Junction, we had 3.2 million visitors in 2023. The number one comment they get from visitors is “Your community is so friendly!” Tourism is important to this area, but there’s a clear mission to keep the residents the number one priority.
